West Central Initiative Accepting Resiliency Fund Grant Applications

FERGUS FALLS (KDLM) – West Central Initiative has begun accepting applications for Resiliency Fund Grants.

The grants will focus on organizations working to create a more sustainable and equitable region.

“Two years have passed since we established the Resiliency Fund to respond to the immediate pandemic needs of our region and the long-term recovery of west central Minnesota,” said West Central Initiative President Anna Wasescha.

Most grants will range from $3,000 to $10,000—although some may reach up to $25,000 based on scope, need, and impact. Applications can be submitted through April 13 and West Central Initiative will host virtual information sessions on March 25 and March 31

Last month, West Central Initiative awarded $100,000 in Resiliency Fund Grants to nine organizations that connect people with food, shelter, and other necessities.
