Perham Boys Headed to State After Defeating DGF in Section Title Game

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The Perham Yellowjackets punched their ticket to the Class AA State BBB Tournament winning the Section 8AA Championship 54-40 over Heart O Lakes Conference rival DGF.

DGF and Perham were tied 22-22 at halftime in defensive battle that saw DGF star Owen Leach score 18 pts. Perham had leads of 8 to 10 pts severat times in the second half on their way to the Section Title. Perham will play in the 1 st rd of the State Tournament Tuesday night Live on The Lakes 99.5.
