DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The Becker County Courthouse was evacuated early Monday due to a gas leak.
Detroit Lakes Fire Chief Ryan Swanson says the building was evacuated as a precaution as the Fire Department searched for the gas leak. The gas system was eventually shut down and the leak found.
Maintenance staff at the Courthouse are currently working with Minnesota Energy to get the system repaired and back up and running.
