MINNEAPOLIS, MN (KDLM) – Detroit Lakes senior John Gulon set another Detroit Lakes record in the 100-yard backstroke in a 13th place finish at the Boys State Swim and Dive Meet.
Gulon, who broke the DL school record at the Section 5A meet with a 55.18, finished with 55.02 in the prelims for an 11th place finish.
Gulon would swim a 55.79 in the consolation finals, for a 13th place overall finish.
Charlie Crosby of Breck Blake won the Class A Meet with a time of 46.64.
