DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Becker County Sheriff Todd Glander honored a county snowplow driver and three county correctional officers this week who were involved in saving lives.
Bill Osterman of the Becker County Highway Department was given a Certificate of Recognition For Outstanding Achievement Using Life Saving Measures for his part in aiding a man who was struck by a snow plow
Three county correctional officers were also recognized for helping a woman who had tied a piece of cloth around her neck and a toilet and was being strangled. Officers Brun, Kropuenske, and Stallman were also awarded a Certificate of Recognition For Outstanding Achievement Using Life Saving Measures.
