MELROSE (KDLM) – Section 8AA Individual wrestling Tournament took place Friday and Saturday at the Melrose High School.
In the end the Detroit Lakes Lakers will send four individuals off to the State Tournament on Friday and Saturday at the Excel Energy Center in downtown St. Paul.
Winning their Section Championship match were Bradley Swiers at 138 and Tyson Ullyot at 145. Cade Jackson at 160 and Jeffrey Moen at HWT finished second, but will still go to the State Tournament.
State Tournament coverage is Thursday thru Saturday on KRCQ and the Lakes Area Radio App.
