Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – Nate Cihak erupted for 32 points against the Moorhead Spuds at the Lakeshirts Fieldhouse on Wednesday night, but Moorhead left town with an 87-81 win.
The Spuds had a trio of 20-point scorers, led by Mekhi Elmore with 22 points. Adam Jenkins and Jordan Zimmerman added 21 points in the win.
DL’s Mason Carrier posted a double-double for the Lakers with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Moorhead improved to 12-10 overall, while DL fell to 8-12 overall. The Lakers’ next game is Saturday in a Section 8AAA matchup at 7-14 Little Falls.
