DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The Pine to Prairie Pheasants Forever banquet will take place Friday at the Holiday Inn in Detroit Lakes.
The nonprofit group of pheasant hunters is dedicated to wildlife habitat conservation to conserve pheasants, quail, and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public access, education, and conservation advocacy.
The event will feature dinner, prizes and a live and silent auction that features a custom made knife, “The knife was made by Russ Kommer, the handle is what’s really unique, it’s made from a fossilized walrus bone – it’s a beautiful knife and worth over $1,000,” said Dave Blomseth, one of the event organizers.
If you go, tickets are $60 for an adult which includes a Pheasants Forever membership, $30 for a spouse and $15 for youth.
