BIWABIK, MN (KDLM) – Tristan Bristlin placed 64th at the State High School Alpine Ski Meet at Giant’s Ridge in Biwabik on Wednesday. Bristlin, an eighth-grader, won the Section 8A Meet at Detroit Mountain on February 7th to qualify for the State meet.
Bristlin finished his first run in 48.32 seconds, which placed him 74th in the field. He shaved off more than seven seconds in his second run at 41.89 for a total time of 1:30.21.
Adam Berghult of Edina won the Boys Individual State Championship with a time of 35.80/36.45/1:12.25.
