Walker Native Making Waves in Music Scene

WALKER (KDLM) – A Walker, MN native is making a name for herself in the music industry and has been invited to perform at one of the country’s biggest and most popular music festivals.

Berit Dybing, known as Ber will release her debut EP on Feb. 25 and this spring perform at the South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival in Austin, Texas.

This summer, Ber began releasing music online and her song “Meant to Be” has become a viral hit on social media.

“I’ve just been amazed at how many people were able to relate to it, because while I was writing it I was like, oh, no one will understand this,” she told Minneapolis radio station, The Current.
