DILWORTH (KDLM) – The Detroit Lakes Lakers were able to defeat the West 2nd seed DGF Rebels on Tuesday by a score of 40-32.
Detroit Lakes fell behind at one point 17-9 thru 132, but with pins by Bradley Swiers, Tyson Ullyot, split decision by Cade Okeson, a regular win by Brock Swiers and pin by Cade Jackson at 170, the Lakers lead 34-17.
DGF got wins by Jordan Summers, Caleb Johnson and Bryce Fisher, the Rebels made it 34-32. That meant the HWT matchup would win the dual and the Lakers Jeffrey Moen got the pinfall win to give the Lakers the win 40-32.
Detroit Lakes will host the Section 8AA semi and Finals on Friday at the Lakeshirts Fieldhouse. Semi’s at 6pm and the Finals at 7:30 pm.
