WASHINGTON D.C. – The Supreme Court, today has blocked President Joe Biden’s vaccine and testing requirement aimed at large businesses.
The ruling does, however allow for a vaccine mandate for certain health care workers to go into effect nationwide.
The mandate would have forced companies of over 100 employees to prove they had a COVID-19 vaccine; unvaccinated would have been required to wear a mask at all times and go through weekly testing. More than 80 million employees or 2/3 of the American workforce would have been effected by the mandate.
