Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – Great shooters are made in the offseason and to become a great shooter you need to get lots of shots up. During the months of June, July, and August, DLHS girls basketball players were encouraged to keep track of all the shots they took during practice.

Based on shooting five days a week, players need to take 170 shots a day to reach 10,000. 250 shots would get you 15,000, 350 shots would get you 20,000, and 420 would get you 25,000.

Prior to the Detroit Lakes Laker Girls basketball game vs Bemidji on Tuesday, the members of the 10,000 Shot Club were recognized for their dedication to summer basketball.
