NIMROD (KDLM) – A Staples man has been arrested after a chase that reaches speeds of 100 miles per hour.
Just before 11 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 11 the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office was requested to assist the Staples Police Department with a vehicle pursuit. The pursuit reached speeds of 100 miles per hour before the vehicle was stopped using stop sticks and a PIT maneuver near Nimrod, MN.
Two male occupants of the vehicle were removed without incident. The driver was identified as Dan Milam, 44, of Staples, who was arrested for felony fleeing, fifth degree controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The passenger was released without charges.
