BAGLEY, MINN. (KNOX) – The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office says there is no truth to a rumor that a student took, or tried to take, a gun Thursday from the Bagley High School Resource Officer.
Sheriff Darin Halverson says an incident occurred, but no gun was involved. “One of the students made a comment kind of jokingly that they should take his gun. They were going to escort the student to the Principal’s office to talk to him about not making those comments – the student decided to run – then the rumor mill started.”
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the two students were escorted from school…and students and staff were not in danger.
