DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The new Detroit Lakes Police Department has been given an award for facility design.
The 21,000 square foot building which was constructed in the summer of 2021 at a cost of $6.7 million was given a Silver Award for Law Enforcement Facilities Design, recognizing outstanding architecture and design from Officer Magazine.
“We are proud and excited to receive this award and we are thankful to be able to work out of such an outstanding building,” the Department said in a Facebook post.
