PERHAM (KDLM) – The Perham boys basketball team opened its season at home with a 66-47 win over the Aitkin Gobblers.
It was a close 1st half with Perham holding a 33-30 lead. The 2nd half was all Perham as the Jackets turned up the defensive heat on Aitkin for the 1st win of the season.
Perham was led by Soren Anderson with 22 pts. and Micah Thompson who had a double-double 15 pts. and 10 reb. Jacob Daniels chipped in 11 pts. while Alex Ohm scored a solid 12 pts off the bench.
Aitkin was led by Gus Sanford with 19 pts. and 5-3’s.
