Fireside in Detroit Lakes Adds New Head Chef

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Fireside in Detroit Lakes has hired Chris Recore as its new Executive Chef.

Recore comes to The Fireside with 20 years of professional experience in the restaurant business, including executive chef positions at Ledge Rock Grille at Larsmont Cottages in Two Harbours and the Iron Range Eatery in Crosby.

Cory Wolfe, who has been Executive Chef at the Fireside since 2017, will remain in the kitchen to work alongside Recore.

“We are very excited to have both Chris and Cory in our kitchen,” said Fireside operating partner Michael Setterholm. “This has created a strong one-two punch of leadership in our kitchen.”
