LISTEN: DLHS Students Broadcast on KDLM From Mrs. Kvebak’s Digital Media and Film Class

(KDLM) – For the last three years, KDLM Radio has joined the students in Mary Kvebak’s Digital Media and Film class to give them a little taste of what radio life is like.

KDLM once again joined Mrs. Kvebak in the classroom at Detroit Lakes High School this past week as she taught her unit on radio, and helped the students write news scripts and prepare for a live news broadcast on KDLM.

The students broadcasted live from inside the Lakeshirts Lab at Detroit Lakes High School from 12:30-1:15 during the Off The Record program on KDLM on October 14th. The students wrote and broadcasted news stories concerning DLHS updates, local events, and regional news stories.

KDLM, KRCQ, and Wave 104.1 will also be airing some of the student’s stories during the morning newscasts next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
