Frazee, MN (KDLM) – The guardrail is in place and the bridge over the Otter Tail River in Frazee is now open to local traffic. Thru-traffic should continue to follow the detour, but if you have a destination on Highway 87, you can now cross the bridge to access Highway 87 from Frazee.
Paving between Frazee and Evergreen is expected to wrap up this week. Shouldering, final striping, rumbles, and sign installation continue as well, and once those are complete, the road will reopen to all traffic. We are on schedule for that to happen by next Friday, Oct. 15 (as long as the weather cooperates).
MnDot asks that thru-traffic using Highway 87 to please continue to follow the detour route on Highway 71, Highway 34 and County Road 29/Birch Avenue.
