DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The Ojibwe Forests Rally returns to Detroit Lakes this weekend.
The road race will consist of 15 stages, with the final two taking place at Detroit Mountain on Saturday. Unlike last year, this year’s rally will be open to spectators.
More than 60 drivers are currently registered to compete in the event which will travel through Itasca State Park as well as Detroit Lakes this weekend. Merchandise and food vendors will be on hand at Detroit Mountain on Saturday as well as a massive 20′ video screen that will showcase the action.
This year’s racers include fan favorite, Travis Pastrana, Barry McKenna, Bucky Lasek and Scott Putnam.
