DETROIT LAKES – The man who set fire to Wold’s RV Sales in December has been sentenced.
Daniel Kaufman was convicted of second-degree arson and theft and sentenced to 6 months in prison.
Surveillance video as well as cell phone tracing helped lead investigators to Kaufman after the Dec. 29, 2020 fire.
Kaufman made two anonymous phone calls to police throughout the investigation, in one asking if police had video of the suspect’s face.
Damage was estimated at more than $1 million dollars to Wold’s RV Sales
