DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Detroit Lakes Public Schools will be hosting a Back to School Supply Drive, Wednesday.
The event helps supply children in need with necessary school supplies for the upcoming school year. This year’s event will be held as a drive-thru event from 4-6 p.m. on the south side of Roosevelt Elementary.
Families wishing to register a student should visit tinyurl.com/2021schooldrive or contact Karol at 218-847-5628 ext. 5364.
Additionally, monetary and supply donations can be made before Tuesday at Midwest Bank or Bremer Bank in Detroit Lakes.
The average cost per student for supplies this year is expected to be as much as $270, compared with roughly $250 nationwide in 2020.
