DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The 89th Pine to Palm golf tournament begins today, at Detroit Country Club.
Vern Schnathorst has taken over the chairman duties this year alongside Dave Johnston as the assistant chairman. Both Schnathorst and Johnston have been volunteers at the tournament for more than two decades.
This year fans can keep track of their favorite players online using the Golf Genius app as well as daily updates from Andy Lia at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on KDLM and the Lakes Area Radio App. The tournament will field 450 golfers throughout the week with the championship round carried live on KDLM and the Lakes Area Radio App on Sunday.
