DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Thousands of country music fans descended on Detroit Lakes last weekend for WE Fest’s 30th country music festival.
The event, under new ownership and taking a year off was by all accounts a smashing success with headliners, Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bently and Blake Shelton.
Live Nation purchased the festival from Townsquare Media in August of 2019 and made a number of improvements before last weekend’s event including moving the general admission area 200 feet closer to the main stage; improving sight lines; and adding additional food options.
Organizers of the event have also announced headliners for the festival in 2022 which include, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert.
