DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Essentia Health is relaxing visitor restrictions as COVID-19 declines across the Lakes Area.
Essentia Health announced Tuesday that they were returning to pre-pandemic patient visitation policies in hospitals and clinics.
Essentia Health had initially relaxed their visitation policy in May by allowing two adult visitors per patient across all clinic and hospital settings. Beginning Tuesday, those restrictions will be lifted.
Visitor restrictions remain in place for COVID-positive patients, as well as patients suspected to have COVID.
