DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Law enforcement is warning residents about the potential of increased porch pirates as an influx of packages begin arriving on doorsteps after Amazon Prime Day sales.
Law enforcement is asking people to have packages delivered to their workplace or to someone, who is home during the day. They also recommend signing for packages.
The most highly sought-after items stolen from package deliveries left on porches include smart TVs, Instant Pots and headphones.
