180 Mile Ruck March to Bring Awareness to Veteran Suicide will March through Lakes Area

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The fourth annual Brady’s Border2Border Ruck March will begin, Thursday.

The 180 mile ruck march hosted by the Bracy Oberg Legacy Foundation will take three days consisting of four individuals marching 45 mile segments carrying a weighted pack on their backs to help raise awareness for PTSD and Veteran suicide.

The march will begin at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN on HWY 115 to HWY 10 to Lake Park, MN then North on HWY 7 into Ulen, MN then continue west on county roads to Veterans Memorial Bridge, separating Fargo, ND and Moorhead, MN.

The march honors Brady Oberg from Ulen, a combat veteran who died by suicide in 2015. Over the first three years – the Border2BorderRuck March has raised nearly $90,000 supporting the Brady Oberg Legacy Foundation.
