ST. PAUL (KDLM) – A Federal Jury last week convicted an Itasca County man for Vehicular Assault on the White Earth Reservation.
The Federal jury convicted Kevin Doerr on one count of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of assault resulting in serious bodily injury.
According to court documents, Doerr was driving erratically through Elbow Lake Village on the White Earth Indian Reservation attempting to run people over and chasing people through the neighborhood. When law enforcement arrived, they found two people badly injured whom Doerr had hit with his vehicle.
A sentencing date has yet to be scheduled.
