PARK RAPIDS (KDLM) — The Green Valley Bean Plant was damaged by a fire, Monday.
The fire was reported around 8:30 pm and crews battled the flames until after 1am, Tuesday.
Fire crews from Carsonville, Park Rapids, Nevis, Menahga, Frazee, Detroit lakes and Wolf Lake helped battle the flames. Approximately one hudnred firefighters assisted at the scene.
Agencies assisting included the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, Park Rapid’s Police Department, MN State Patrol, MN State Fire Marshal, Becker County Sheriff’s Office, North Memorial Ambulance and crews from Akeley and Walker.
The fire is now under investigation to determine the cause.
