DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Despite the easing of mask mandates from federal agencies, state government and municipal leaders, Essentia Health, Tri-County Health and a number of other Lakes Area health facilities will continue to enforce mask policies.
Most institutions cite CDC guidelines that do not cover health care settings like hospitals, clinics and long-term-care facilities regardless of an individual’s vaccination status.
Updated guidelines from the CDC recommend visitors to health care settings continue wearing a well-fitted face covering at all times.
