By Zeke Fuhrman May 4, 2021 | 10:56 AM

The Minnesota Wild won in miraculous fashion last night. Down 5-4 with 1:32 left, Kirill Kaprizov scored the equalizer then Jonas Brodin scored the game-winner 26 seconds later as the Wild stunned the Las Vegas Golden Knights. Minnesota and Las Vegas will meet for the final time (during the regular season…) tomorrow night. The Wild trail the Colorado Avalanche by two points for the #2 seed and the Golden Knights by four points for the Division title.

The Twins bullpen was shaky last night, but was able to hold on for a 6-5 win over the Texas Rangers last night. Kenta Maeda had his best start of the season, throwing eight strikeouts over 5.2 innings of work. Jorge Polanco knocked in two runs, including the insurance needed with an RBI double in the bottom of the eighth inning. The Twins are 11-16 and have won three of their last four games. They are still in fourth place in the AL Central by 5 games.

In the second half of the Sports Wrap, new head coach of the Detroit Lakes Laker football team Reed Hefta joins Zeke to talk about his new role with the football program, the importance of surrounding yourself with knowledgeable people, the impact he expects his team to have off the field and his thoughts on the 8AAAA realignment.
