DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Detroit Lakes High School has been named the 32nd best school in the state of Minnesota.

The ranking comes for U.S. News and World Report which ranks schools across the country annually. Schools that rise to the top are those whose students demonstrated outstanding outcomes above expectations in math and reading state assessments, earned qualifying scores in an array of college-level exams, and graduated in high proportions.

“Thanks to all the hard work by our staff and students and support from our community, we are able to deliver an exceptional learning experience for students in the Detroit Lakes area,” said the school district in a Facebook post.

A complete breakdown of how Detroit Lakes High School compares to schools across the country can be viewed at the U.S. News and World Report Website.
