Detroit Lakes Student Selected as DLPU Scholarship Award Winner

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Detroit Lakes High School student, Easton Gravelle has been selected as the Detroit Lakes Public Utilities student scholarship award winner.

Gravelle’s winning essay describing the benefits of the local electric utility to the community’s well-being earned him a $750 scholarship by the Detroit Lakes Public Utilities; He will now be eligible for a state scholarship of up to $2,000.

Gravelle plans to attend the Lineman Program at M-State in Wadena upon graduation.
