BISMARCK – A North Dakota Mega Millions player was quick to claim the $3,000,000 Mega Millions prize from the March 30 draw.
The winner from Fargo, who chose to remain anonymous, hit it big with a quick pick ticket. According to the state lottery office, the lucky winner cannot believe this dream came true and is still letting it sink in. The winner plans to invest the prize winnings.
The ticket, which matched five white balls, was worth $1-million, but the player chose the Megaplier option, raising the winnings to $3-million. The ticket was sold at Casey’s General Store, 3545 25th St. S. The store will receive $10,000.
The Mega Millions jackpot for the Friday, April 2 draw is $168 million.
