DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The deadline for scholarship applications for Detroit Lakes Public Utilities student scholarship is Friday.
Detroit Lakes High School Seniors can submit an essay of 500 to 750 words describing the benefits of the local electric utility to the community’s well-being.
The winning essay will be awarded a $750 scholarship by the Detroit Lakes Public Utilities and will also be eligible for a state scholarship of up to $2,000.
Applications for the scholarship are available at https://cityofdetroitlakes.com/utilities
