DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – A local 4H member has helped the Becker County Sheriff’s Office outfit a K9 with a ballistic vest.
K9 Durman received his vest last week. Ashley Fletcher, helped sponsor the purchase through a 4H Leadership Project.
The bullet and stab protective vest comes from nonprofit organization Vested Interest in K9s. Vested Interest in K9s helps provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement and related agencies throughout the United States.
