DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Unseasonably warm weather is expected this weekend, but as early as next week the Lakes Area could experience a winter storm.
Temperatures are expected to hit the 50s on Saturday and Sunday, but early forecasts indicate a complex spring storm by the middle of next week could bring rain, snow and wind.
Snow is expected to hit the area by late Tuesday into Wednesday. Some models indicate that some areas, particularly in northern Minnesota could receive up to 6 inches of snow.
