FRAZEE (KDLM) – The Frazee Hornets hosted the Crookston Pirates and the United North Central Warriors Thursday night.
The first of three matches, had the Hornets upend the Crookston Pirates 42-33. A big win for Tyler Moe at 145 helped the Hornets to pull ahead at 18-15 and Frazee never trailed, going on for the 42-33 win. Crookston wrestles the United North Central Warrior next and then UNC will wrestle the Hornets.
An early lead by Crookston at 20-0, did not hold up as United North Central made a comeback to get it to 33-30, with HWT the decider. The HWT matchup had UNC’s Marcus Peterson pin the Pirates Greg Gonzalez at 3:10 for a 36-33 UNC win.
