Winter Storm Could Bring 1-5 Inches of Snow in Lakes Area

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – A winter storm could bring 1-5 inches of snow throughout the Lakes Area.

The National Weather Service says a winter system will move through the region on Tuesday. Generally, 1-5 inches will be possible, although some areas may see higher amounts of 6+ inches.

Snow is likely to hit the Lakes Area around 9am and continue throughout the day impacting evening commutes. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 10am, Tuesday through 12am on Wednesday.
