DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – A rural Wadena man has been charged with arson after allegedly setting Wold’s RV Sales on fire, Dec. 29, 2020.
Daniel Martin Kaufman has been charged with felony second-degree arson and felony theft.
Surveillance video as well as cell phone tracing helped lead investigators to Kaufman.
Kaufman made two anonymous phone calls to police throughout the investigation, in one asking if police had video of the suspect’s face.
Kaufman has posted a $30,000 bond and was released, his next court appearance is Feb. 22.
