NIMROD (KDLM) – A fire near Nimrod destroyed a home, Saturday.
Just before 11:30pm, Saturday, Feb. 13, the Wadena County Sheriff’s office recieved a report of a structure fire in Lyons Township, south of Nimrod.
When the Deputy arrived he found that there was a single level dwelling with the roof engulfed in flames which quickly spread to other parts of the structure.
The occupant of the house indicated the fire started in an attic space near the wood stove pipe.
No one was injured and the house has been deemed a complete loss
