DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The Poles N Holes Ice Fishing Derby in Detroit Lakes has been postponed for a second time.
“In consideration of the extreme cold temperatures that are persisting in our area and are expected to continue into this weekend, the Detroit Lakes Breakfast Rotary Club has made the decision to postpone the derby again,” organizers for the event said.
The event is now planned for Saturday, February 20th.
In addition to the live derby, the club is conducting a virtual derby through the Fish Donkey app.
