WADENA (KDLM) – A driver was injured after striking and killed a horse in Aldrich Township, Tuesday.
The Wadena Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call just after 10pm on Tuesday, Feb. 9. Deputies responded to the area of Country Road 23 near County Road 4 in Aldrich Township. A juvenile driver that was heading northbound on County road 23 struck a horse that was in the roadway.
The driver received injuries in the crash and was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
The horse succumbed to its injuries from the crash.
