DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Detroit Lakes Public Utilities has opened applications for its student scholarship.
The Detroit Lakes Public Utility Scholarship is open until March 26, Detroit Lakes High School Seniors can submit an essay of 500 to 750 words describing the benefits of the local electric utility to the community’s well-being.
The winning essay will be awarded a $750 scholarship by the Detroit Lakes Public Utilities and will also be eligible for a state scholarship of up to $2,000.
