(KNSI) – Authorities are on the scene of a shooting at the Allina Health Clinic along Crossroad Campus Drive in Buffalo. The incident was reported just before 11 a.m.
About 30 minutes after the shooting, a bomb went off in Allina’s urgent care clinic.
Several people are reported to have serious injuries.
A single male suspect is in custody for the bombing and the shooting. A motive has not yet been released.
Multiple outlets are reporting suspicion of a bomb threat at a Super 8 motel a mile south of the clinic. A Minneapolis bomb squad has been called in to investigate. However, authorities on scene say the Allina Health Clinic is the only active scene at this time. Local schools are in a soft lockdown.
The Wright County Sheriff is expected to brief the press at 3 p.m.
This is a developing story.
