Laker Wrestling Sweeps at Home Against Frazee and Ottertail Central

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The Laker Wrestling team improved their dual record to 10-2 on the season with two convincing wins on Thursday night at the Ralph Anderson Gymnasium. The Lakers beat Ottertail Central 58-13 and finished the night with a win against Frazee 43-18. Next up, the Lakers will travel to DGF tonight to participate in a Triangular that will feature DGF and Fargo Davies.

Laker Dance Team: The Lakers traveled to Melrose on Thursday night and took part in an invite that featured B.O.L.D. and Melrose area. The Laker Jazz teams took first in both the J.V. and the Varsity, while the High Kick team took 3rd in Varsity and 2nd in J.V. Next up, the Lakers will travel to R.O.C.O.R.I. on Saturday as they will get their first chance at seeing their section competition. Saturday’s meet will feature Albany, Alexandria, Foley, Monticello, Orono, Pequot Lakes, Rocori, and Willmar. The Lakers are scheduled to dance at 1 pm on Saturday.
