FOSSTON (KDLM) – The #3 rated Detroit Lakes Lakers cruised to victory against Fosston-Bagley, but suffered their first team defeat to Thief River Falls, Thursday.
The Lakers opened up the Fosston Bagley Brawlers with 10 pins in a 67-12 victory. Lakers lead 33-6 halfway thru and finished with a Andreas Barnett pin at Hwyt.
In the second match of the evening, the Detroit Lakes Lakers took their first loss of the year losing to Section 8AA rival the Thief River Falls Prowlers 39-34. It was tied at 18 before TRF got wins at 145, 152 and 160 to open a 30-18 lead. A loss at 220 for DL sealed the victory for TRF.
