DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – A series of community conversations will launch this week in Detroit Lakes.
The series is a partnership with Detroit Lakes Public Library, Becker County Museum, and the Holmes Theatre. Each virtual conversation features experts in their field and an opportunity for community members to ask questions a nd be part of the conversation.
Rachel Hofstrand, Marketing Director at the Historic Holmes Theatre says the series will focus on hot topics within the area, “The aim is to build community through discussing these hot topics.”
The first virtual conversation is January 28 at 7pm and will focus on Education in a Pandemic and feature a variety of speakers. Additional conversations will focus on diversity, gender equity and climate change in Minnesota.
