Fundraiser Saturday for Frazee Family who Lost Home in Fire

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The Detroit Lakes High School Interact Club will be hosting a fundraiser to help a Frazee family who lost their home in a fire earlier this month.

Arnie and Tammy Krejce lost their home on Saturday, January 2 when the blaze broke out from behind their dryer and spread from room to room. The family did not have insurance on the home.

A fundraiser will be held Saturday, January 23 from noon to 6pm at the Detroit Lakes Public High School bus loop on the North East corner of the building. A pulled pork meal can be picked up with a recommended donation of $5.00

Tammy Krejce works as a teacher’s assistant at Laker Prep early Childhood Center in Detroit Lakes, the Detroit Lakes High School Interact Club says this is their way of getting the community together to support the family through a tragedy.

A GoFundMe has also been created with a goal of $15,000.
